Native youth lose connection to ancestral languages
My granddaughter will be seven-years-old in October. Like many children that age she is bright and she is inquisitive. Her name is Juneau.

My sister goes to a school on the Meskwaki Settlement. They have a class similar to public schools’ foreign language classes. This class is called Culture. They are taught by those from our community that read, write, and speak our language. Alongside learning our language, they are taught traditional and cultural ways of our tribe. #PROUD
